Job Responsibilities As part of an Engineering team that focuses on the design, development, deployment and management of advanced technologies such as unified communications (including VoIP), security, wireless, optical, telepresence, storage, as well as supporting network architecture and Microsoft infrastructure solutions, this position requires proven experience as an engineer proficient in the deployment of solutions primarily from Cisco (Gold Certified), EMC (Premier Partner), IBM (Business Partner Certified), NetAPP (Platinum Partner), Nortel (Elite Advantage Certified), Microsoft (Gold Certified) and Sun (iForce Partner).
Experience/Qualifications Requirements The successful candidate must possess the following credentials and experience: • 7+ Years Experience engineering solutions using Microsoft products • 2+ Years Consulting or demonstrated Project Team lead • 3+ Years Demonstrated Experience engineering enterprise solutions using SharePoint 2001/2003/2007 • 3+ Years Working with Windows 2003 Active Directory • Experience in migration from SharePoint 2001/2003 to MOSS 2007 HIGHLY desirable. • MCSE 2003 HIGHLY desirable • Preferably has a B.S degree in MIS, or related subject • Can demonstrate experience documenting deliverables that are significant milestones during the course of a project. Examples are Design documents, Test plans and Implementation plans • Can demonstrate an advanced knowledge of technical details related to SharePoint 2003 and/or MOSS 2007 in the enterprise environment, including portal design, workflow, security, client access and developing SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) • Willing to manage/perform multiple client projects simultaneously. Although rare, but certain projects may require travel and overnight stay (within US) • Communicate and interface with the customer’s management on issues pertaining to their automation and customization needs including debugging, modifying, performance tuning and enhancing implemented software systems. Differentiators: • Lead role in migration of legacy SharePoint to latest version • Competent in ASP.Net , C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, JAVA, IIS. • Past experience with SQL 2005 • Past experience with LCS / OCS
