Job Responsibilities
• Perform as the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Project Management Office (PMO) Liaison to development program offices responsible for estimating and managing the EDM work in support of government agency development efforts (projects).
• Will need to work with Enterprise Data Architecture, the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Project Lead and the data architects to provide estimates for EDM level of effort to support development (CARDs).
• Creation and maintenance of EDM project plan for each project, providing updates/status to Program Manager. Provide these project plans to development PMO to be included in the development PMO project WBS.
• Attend system life cycle gate reviews and project weekly meetings conducted by PMOs for each project, addressing schedule negotiations with PMO and completing action items assigned to Data Engineering Branch as a result of meetings with development PMO.
• Provide weekly status report to the Program Manager with milestones completed, risks, and targeted activities.
Please note that due to the nature of the client’s work environment, all candidates will need to have an Interim Federal government Background Investigation (BI) successfully adjudicated before beginning work.

Experience/Qualifications Requirements
• Ten (10) years information technology experience in the areas of data management, data warehousing, information assurance with project management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally.
• Strong analytical, problem identification / solving skills.
• Documented experience applying project management discipline within the context of an enterprise data management and/or data governance framework in support of one or more federal government agencies, preferably within Homeland Security, DoD, or the Intelligence Community.
• Ability to multi-task to support multiple projects and interfacing with multiple organizations within and external to EDME.
• Ability to make decisions at the project level and provide recommendations to Program Manager to improve PMO liaison process.
Education/Certification:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or similar discipline) required, Masters preferred.
Project Management Professionsl (PMP) preferred
