NIEM Developer

Job Responsibilities • Perform as a NIEM (National Information Exchange Model) developer, working under direction of Technical Project Manager and interfacing with Program Office development teams • Develop NIEM Information Exchange Package Documents (IEPDs) • Create XSDs (schema for data exchange) • Develop ICDs (Interface Control Documents) • Evaluate NIEM models and data exchanges Please note that due to the nature of the client’s work environment, all candidates will need to have an Interim Federal government Background Investigation (BI) successfully adjudicated before beginning work.
Experience/Qualifications Requirements Required Skills: • Skilled in data architecture concepts and data modeling • 3+ years NIEM experience • Knowledgeable in developing Information Exchange Package Documents (IEPDs) • Skilled in XML, creating XSDs to provide support to development team Preferable Experience: • Experience with WSDL (Web Service Definition Language) • Experience with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) and ESB (Enterprise Service Bus)
